About the talk “Simple Living – Battles and Artwork From Inside a Campervan”

In 2008, Nadia created a drawing to raise money for a humanitarian aid organization in Dafur, Africa, but was stopped by Loius Vuitton because part of the drawing resembled one of their bags.

“Simple Living” is the story of a young woman who travels abroad for what she thought was a dream husband and a dream education. Instead, she ends up deceived, disabled, and living alone in a damp campervan, and in the middle of a giant court case.

It’s also the story of how putting her dreams in writing on an ice cold kitchen cabinet gave her incredible courage and willpower to pull through, and how she ended up changing the lives of thousands of people – in more ways than one.
